This is the single only concern when you are a Best Man. Lets face it! the most daunting of duties is not holding on to the wedding rings ad ensuring they don't fall down into a sewer enroute to the church. Although this might be a major calamity on the day but it is not the major concern for the Best Man. The only thing that should be running through the Best Mans' head is making sure that his speech is in order for the reception. Because it is this speech that all invited guests will hear and unfortunately will gauge his best man stature. I know i have been to some great weddings and some epic fail weddings! Although they all differ in quality, experience and location. The main reason for the disparity of quality seems to be the type of people invited and speeches of the wedding reception. I say this because the speeches usually tell people what kind of family member or friend they truly are.If you are a best man you most certainly do want to talk about the grooms ex's or past girlfriends. I can tell you that will leave a very uncomfortable bride and audience. That is an EPIC FAIL. What i can suggest is search for soem good best man templates on the internet and use those and you will not fail.
